One hundred sixty-one years ago, six women forever shaped the way in which I lived my life. Eugenia Tucker Fitzgerald, Octavia Rush, Sophronia Dews, Elizabeth Mitchell, Ella Pierce Turner, and Mary Evans Glass. This day, they created the Adelphian Society, the first secret organization for women, today known as Alpha Delta Pi.

It was almost six years ago when I arrived to the Ripon College campus to embark on my educational endeavors. I soon met ladies who were members of Alpha Delta Pi and realized I was going to be in a sorority, something that was foreign to me. It was the best adventure and decision I have made, and I cannot wait to see where Alpha Delta Pi takes me in the future.

While at Ripon College, I met my best friends, my confidants, my little sisters, my like-minded friends that have been there for me every single step of the way. I know I would not be the same person without Alpha Delta Pi and the people I have had the fortune to meet within the organization.
