Hey, Momma Rock Me

Two weekends ago, now, I went with Sam to Sigma Chi formal at Ripon.  It was a fantastic time, and one of my favorite formals so far.  What made it spectacular?  Well, first up, we arrived in style to Brockway in this lovely wooden beast of a station wagon.  I also got to be with some of my most favorite ADPi sisters, who made getting ready for formal a wonderful occasion.  It was also made amazing by tons of dancing, singing along to some of my favorite songs, and spending time with my favorite fraternity.

Although the Sigma Chi lounge flooded prior to formal and about then other things went wrong in the twenty-four hours before formal, it was such a wonderful occasion.  The weather cooperated enough to take photos outside, for a change.  If you would’ve told me we would be taking photos outside in March without coats, I would have bet you $100 against that theory.

The moment that got me almost to tears was singing Wagon Wheel along with all of the Sigma Chi men.  It was at that point that I realized I had so few opportunities to sing along with Old Crow Medicine Show at the top of my lungs with those boys, and I have to begin to cherish every last time I have to do so.
