It was brought to my attention recently that the lease for my apartment is up in five months. Meaning, that I will not be a Madison resident at that time. Living in a city with tons of restaurants and culture, I want to ensure that I take advantage of living here. To do so, I am creating a to-do list of things I must accomplish before I move to my next home. In no particular order, here they are:
- Host a bonfire at Picnic Point
- Tour the Capitol building
- Take my photo with Abe graduation day
- Tour the New Glarus brewery
- Tour Captial Brewery
- Sing a song at the Karaoke Kid
- Take a walk at Olbrich Gardens
- Stroll through the Arboretum
- Finish a boot at the Essen Haus
- Go grocery shopping at the Willy Street Co-Op
- Get cheese from Fromagination
- Camp overnight at Devil’s Lake and hike the entire trail
- Study at the Wisconsin Historical Society’s reading room
- Enjoy coffee at the Froth House
- Get a waffle from Indie Coffee
- See a show at the Sett
- Make a meal out of foods from the Farmer’s Market
- Sail on Lake Mendota
- Drink beer at Brasserie V
- Finish a pitcher my myself at the Terrace
- Drink on the roof of Brickhouse BBQ
- Eat at Paisan’s
- Have brunch at Graze
Any other recommendations? Is there something you think I should do instead of one of these options? Let me know.
